WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US AS A VOLUNTEER TO...

  • Teach English to a small group of women (4 - 8) in their homes. Tutor training, teacher manuals with detailed instruction as well as travel reimbursements are provided. The two-hour classes are usually held during the day. Experts recommend that tutors not speak Spanish so that all in the class speak only English.

  • Accompany tutors and baby-sit with the children. We provide games, videos, and toys.

  • Provide transportation for our women and occasionally children to medical appointments. Many times an interpreter is also needed, so bilingual volunteers are especially welcome!

  • Distribute food, clothing, or furniture, help with grant writing or clerical office support.
