Standing Tall Against Teen ISsues

Tehama County's STATIS group is a group of teens from local schools that are taking part in all sorts of prevention-oriented activities relating to any issue of importance to them.

Examples of STATIS activities include the automobile crash staging event, participation in the development of the Partnership Youth Risk Behavior Survey, development of a STATIS Web page, and mentoring activities with other students.

The STATIS group regularly participates in the Tehama County Health Partnership meetings, and has representatives on many subcommittes. Their adult liaison is Jacqui Garth (530-527-6824).
