Center for Civic PartnershipsThe Center conducts the Technical Support Program for The California Wellness Foundation's Health Improvement Initiative. The goal of the Technical Support Program is to enhance the capacity of the Health Partnership Program grantees to create comprehensive, integrated, community-based systems of preventive services that address an expanded view of health and its determinants. Support is provided in the following areas: governance and leadership, systems change, measurement and evaluation and prevention-focused service delivery. Through the establishment of a learning community, technical support is audience-driven, flexible and responsive to changing needs and individuals. The Center also serves as a broker of information, financial and human resources and is the primary communication and coordination link among all Initiative grantees.
