Social Mentorship Program (Year 1)

• There will be six adult mentors at the three local high schools to establish general relationships with students in need of mentoring relationships. They will remain in daily informal contact with students with formal meetings on a weekly basis. Our goal is to have 100 students involved in Phase 1 mentorships.

• Phase 2 will include mentor recruitment of community volunteers, training of mentors, and monitoring mentor-student relationships. The goal is that 500 students will be involved in Phase 2 mentorships.
