GOALS of the System of Care
The primary goal of the Tehama SOC is to provide appropriate, quality services to children and youth in the least restrictive setting.
GOAL 1: - To provide an integrated system of care that includes multi-agency programs and joint case planning to Severely Emotionally Disabled (SED) and behaviorally disturbed children.
GOAL 2: - To identify and assess Tehama County children in need of services.
GOAL 3: - To develop and maintain individual service plans as a part of the Tehama Children, Youth, and Family Case Management System (FCM) with the goal of providing services in the least restrictive environment.
GOAL 4: - To develop and provide access to a range of intensive services that are based upon individualized needs and lead to healthier children, youth, and families.
GOAL 5: - To provide for the continued operation of the Tehama County Partnership as the umbrella interagency collaborative body and the Multi-Agency Treatment Teams (MATT) as the interagency case management council.
GOAL 6: - To provide culturally competent programs developed by all of the stakeholders that address the unique needs of all citizens of Tehama County including: 1) the needs for equal access; 2) equal representation in program design, implementation, and evaluation; 3) cultural relevance and linguistic inclusiveness.
GOAL 7: - To empower parents by including them in the design, implementation, and evaluation of all the program components and through the provision of non-deficit parent education and support groups.
GOAL 8: - To provide for a rigorous evaluation that includes process, summative, and cost analysis information in a timely fashion.
GOAL 9: - To fully participate in the gathering, management, and reporting of data in accordance with the requirements of the state evaluator.
