First Things First was awarded in March of 1998 from the California HealthCare Foundation. This 18 month, $94,800 grant funds outreach and assistance to Tehama County families for the purpose of enrolling eligible children in Medi-Cal or Healthy Families. Our goal is to enroll 500 children in Medi-Cal.

A Mangini vs. RJ Reynolds tobacco settlement grant was received in March of 1998 in the amount of $63,800. Funds from this grant will be used to support our teen health group, STATIS.
