The National Active & Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) was founded in 1921 and continues to be the only association dedicated to protecting the earned retirement benefits of Federal employees, retirees, and their survivors. NARFE's approximately 375,000 members nationwide, are organized into 52 Federations of 1300 chapters and constitute a viable political voice effectively representing these constituents.
