HIV Antibody Testing

The Public Health Division offers HIV antibody testing to individuals in Tehama County. The HIV antibody test (to detect antibodies to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS) is:

  • FREE
  • Confidential & Anonymous
  • Free counseling at time of test and with test results
  • You get results in 2 weeks
  • Your results are strictly confidential; only the nurse doing the test knows your results
  • You get referrals to HIV related services

To schedule your HIV antibody test, contact the receptionist at the Public Health Division (530) 527-6824. You will be asked for non identifying information to secure your appointment.
