The Public Health Division offers HIV antibody testing to individuals in Tehama County. The HIV antibody test (to detect antibodies to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS) is:

- Free counseling at time of test and with test results
- You get results in 2 weeks
- Your results are strictly confidential; only the nurse doing the test knows your results
- You get referrals to HIV related services
To schedule your HIV antibody test, contact the receptionist at the Public Health Division (530) 527-6824. You will be asked for non identifying information to secure your appointment.
