The Tehama County Public Health Advisory Board advises the Tehama County Board of Supervisors and the local Health Officer regarding Public Health Division programs and services which affect the health of the community.

The Advisory Board is responsible for:

• Reviewing the community's needs and the adequacy of health care services, programs, providers and facilities to meet those needs.
• Advising the Board of Supervisors on policies, goals, and operations of the Public Health Division of the Tehama County Health Services Agency.
• Encouraging support throughout the county for the development and implementation of effective public health services.
• Assisting the Public Health Division in assessing the community's health needs, prioritizing the identified needs, and proposing actions to remedy the identified needs.
• Planning, developing, and preparing an annual written report for the Public Health Division.
